• Why is it on a DIN rail rather than hidden behind the strip?

  The GL-C-011P mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail in the panel, next to the breakers, not behind the strip profile. The benefit is a clean, hard-wired install: the controller stays accessible for service, ventilated and recorded in the panel schedule, while the strip wires run tidily along the route to the cornice or ceiling.
• Does it need a Zigbee hub?

  Yes. As a Zigbee 3.0 (Zigbee Pro) device, the GL-C-011P needs a Zigbee 3.0 gateway to join the smart home: a Tuya hub (id15 in our range), a SmartThings Hub, a Home Assistant coordinator (ZHA) or another compatible gateway. Without such a hub it will not connect to the network and cannot be controlled from a phone.
• Is it also a power supply for the strip?

  No. The GL-C-011P is a controller, not a supply: you need a separate LED power supply at the strip's voltage (DC 12-54 V), usually mounted in or beside the panel. The supply feeds the controller and the strip, while the controller only switches the colours and brightness across the 5 circuits.
• Which LED strips does the 5-in-1 mode support?

  The 6-pin, 5-circuit common-anode terminal drives RGBCCT, RGBW, RGB, CCT and single-colour strips with brightness control. These are analogue (constant-voltage) strips. Common-cathode strips and addressable (pixel/SPI) strips are not suitable for this model.
• How much strip can it power?

  The controller delivers 15 A total and up to 5 A per channel, so capacity depends on voltage: at 24 V, 15 A is about 360 W per output — enough for long runs in a large living room. Higher voltages (48-54 V) cut voltage drop over long runs; always respect the 5 A per-channel limit.
• Does it work with Home Assistant?

  Yes — as a universal Zigbee 3.0 device it is recognised through a Zigbee coordinator in Home Assistant (ZHA). It does not pair to Philips Hue and is not a Wi-Fi device, so it will not work without a Zigbee gateway. • Who should install it?

  Mounting it in the panel, on the DIN rail, with connections to the low-voltage supply and the strip, is a job for an electrician. The IP20 body is for inside the panel or a dry enclosure only, not for a wet or outdoor environment.
