• How thin is it, and why does that matter?

  It has an ultra-thin body made to sit where an ordinary controller will not fit: inside the strip's aluminium profile, in a plasterboard ceiling void or behind a cove. The strip then gets smart control with no controller standing proud and no separate box on show. The official page does not publish exact mm dimensions, but the form factor is clearly flatter than classic controllers.
• What does '5in1' mean and which strips does it drive?

  The one unit drives five analog strip types: single-colour (one white), CCT with white from warm to cool, RGB, RGBW and RGBCCT. In practice you no longer keep four controllers — one covers any analog strip in the job. It does not drive digital addressable WS2812B or SK6812 strips, though; those want Gledopto's SPI-output controllers.
• Which Zigbee hub does it need?

  As a Zigbee 3.0 Pro device it strictly needs a Zigbee 3.0 coordinator/hub — on its own it does nothing smart. It pairs with the Tuya Zigbee hub in our catalogue, a SmartThings Hub or a Zigbee coordinator inside Home Assistant. Once paired it joins scenes and voice control through the hub's ecosystem. If your Zigbee network is still ahead of you, plan the hub together with the controller.
• How long a strip can I connect to it?

  The 6A/CH version carries 6 A per channel, which is 144 W at 24 V, 72 W at 12 V or 30 W at 5 V. Size the strip run by its voltage and do not exceed these ceilings. For a strip longer than one reel, feed power at both ends or the last metres lose brightness — that limit is the strip and the power supply, not the controller.
• Does the strip flicker on a phone camera?

  It should not, set correctly. The PWM modulation frequency adjusts between 600 and 8000 Hz; set above 2000 Hz, the strip stops producing banding or flicker on a phone camera. That helps in a child's room filmed often or a content-creator corner, where cheap light sources spoil the recording.
• Is it for outdoor or bathroom use?

  No. The housing is IP20 rated and is for dry indoor use only — do not fit it in a bathroom, outdoors or in damp places. A wet install needs a sealed power supply and profile, with the controller kept indoors in a dry box.
• How does it differ from the GL-C-006P(Mini)?

  Both are ultra-thin Zigbee controllers, but for different jobs. The GL-C-002P is a 5in1 (single-colour/CCT/RGB/RGBW/RGBCCT) with 6 A per channel, for bigger loads and any analog strip type. The GL-C-006P(Mini) is a 2-channel WW/CW (tuneable white only) at 3 A per channel, closer to a plain white strip. Choose the 002P when you want colour and a power margin.
