• Does it need a Zigbee hub?

  Yes — ZBMicro is a Zigbee 3.0 end device. The official coordinator list: Sonoff iHost, NSPanel Pro, ZBBridge-P/-U, ZBDongle-E/-P with Home Assistant, openHAB, Amazon Echo models with a Zigbee radio and SmartThings Hub V3.
• Can I fast-charge a phone through it?

  Yes, up to 36 W, but ZBMicro does not generate fast charging itself — it passes the upstream adapter's protocol through (QC 3.0, FCP, SCP, PE, AFC, Apple 2.4A). Sonoff recommends the original charger: no-name bricks may cause brief power dips.
• How do I properly reboot a hung router with it?

  Enable inching: ZBMicro cuts the power and restores it by itself after the set interval, from 0.5 s. With the internet down a cloud command cannot get through, so use a local automation on iHost or Zigbee2MQTT.
• Does data pass through, or power only?

  Data passes too: ZBMicro is transparent to USB 2.0, so the cable stays fully functional rather than charge-only.
• Does Turbo Mode work with any hub?

  No. Turbo Mode, inching and power-on state are available on ZBBridge-P, ZBBridge-U, NSPanel Pro, iHost and in Zigbee2MQTT. On Echo, SmartThings and other third-party coordinators you get plain on/off switching.
• How does it behave in Home Assistant?

  It pairs via ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT with a ZBDongle-E/-P stick. In Zigbee2MQTT you get the full set: switching, power-on state, inching and Turbo Mode.
• Will it help sensors the hub cannot reach?

  Yes. While powered, ZBMicro works as a Zigbee router and relays packets from neighbouring devices — battery sensors join the network through it further from the hub.
• What happens to the USB device after a power outage?

  The behaviour is configurable: once power returns, ZBMicro can switch on, stay off or restore the last state — on Sonoff hubs and in Zigbee2MQTT.
