• What base and voltage does the GL-S-014P use?

  It has an MR16 two-pin G5.3 (GU5.3) base and runs on AC/DC 12–24V — low voltage, exactly for track fittings and spots fed through a transformer. It does not fit a 230V GU10 socket; for 230V the right model is the sibling GL-S-006P.
• Will it work with my old halogen transformer?

  Sometimes yes, but not guaranteed. Many old electronic halogen transformers have a minimum-load threshold too high for a 5W LED, causing flicker or a failed start. The safe fix is a low-voltage LED driver rated for small loads; ask us and we will check together before you order.
• Which Zigbee hub do I need for it?

  The bulb is Zigbee 3.0 and needs a coordinator — a Zigbee 3.0 gateway. As a universal Pro model it is not tied to one brand: it works with SmartThings, a Tuya Zigbee hub (id15 in the catalogue) or a Zigbee coordinator for Home Assistant. Without such a hub the bulb cannot be controlled smartly.
• How does it differ from its GU10 sibling, the GL-S-006P?

  The GL-S-014P is the low-voltage MR16/GU5.3 version on 12–24V, which needs a transformer/driver. The GL-S-006P is the GU10 version powered directly from 230V mains, with no transformer. Choose by the base of your existing fittings: two-pin MR16 on 12V — this bulb; GU10 on 230V — the GL-S-006P.
• What colour and white range does it cover?

  It has RGB plus tunable white across the full 2200K–6500K range, in a 5-in-1 build (RGB SMD5050 plus warm and cool white SMD2835), so the same bulb gives a warm evening yellow, a cool daytime white and coloured scenes. At 5W it produces 250–300 lm with a narrow 30° accent-spot beam.
• Can I control it with a remote, not just the phone?

  Yes — besides Zigbee control from the app and scenes, the model has dual control and accepts 2.4G RF remotes compatible with MiLight/MiBoxer, sold separately. For automations, scenes and phone control, though, a Zigbee 3.0 gateway is still required.
• Can I use it in a bathroom or on a terrace?

  No. The model has no officially rated IP protection, so it is for dry indoor use only — not a bathroom with direct splashes or a terrace ceiling. The body is aluminium and plastic, and the bulb should be installed indoors only, away from water and dust.
