The SLZB-MR1 opens the MultiRadio series with two separate SoCs under one lid — a CC2652P7 and an EFR32MG21, each with its own external SMA antenna. So a Zigbee 3.0 network and a Thread network run at the same time: one radio is the Zigbee coordinator in Z2M or ZHA, the other a Thread Border Router for Matter-over-Thread.

It links to the host over 100M Ethernet with PoE 802.3af (48V) or over USB-C, with opto isolation between the ports; draw stays under 1.5 W. It is a coordinator, not a standalone hub — a host running Home Assistant drives it.

What you need on your side and what we deliver.
Three typical automations we set up after the install.
In a Chișinău flat with Zigbee bulbs already up and new Matter-over-Thread sensors, the SLZB-MR1 holds both networks in parallel, with no second coordinator in the rack.
Powered by an 802.3af PoE switch and linked over 100M Ethernet, the coordinator sits in the utility closet — away from the Home Assistant host but close to the centre of the home.
An enthusiast slowly pulling the ecosystem toward Matter runs the Zigbee coordinator on one SoC and a Thread Border Router on the other, with no hardware change.
Real-time consumption tracking via the eWeLink app. Daily, weekly and monthly history helps identify the most energy-hungry devices.
