Frequently asked questions

• Does it need a Zigbee hub?

  Yes. The TRVZB runs on Zigbee 3.0 and needs a hub: SONOFF iHost, NSPanel Pro, ZB Bridge Pro, ZBDongle-E/-P, Samsung SmartThings Hub V3 / Aeotec V3, or any Zigbee 3.0 coordinator. Note: the older ZBBridge is not supported.
• Does it work with Home Assistant?

  Yes. Via Zigbee2MQTT it works out of the box. On ZHA, full smart thermostatic control requires installing Sonoff's official ZHA script. A compatible Zigbee coordinator is needed.
• What batteries does it use and how long do they last?

  Three 1.5 V AA alkaline cells (LR6), 4.5 V total. Not included. Usually 6+ months; use fresh alkaline, not saline. When low, replace within a week.
• Will it fit my radiator?

  Standard M30×1.5 thread, with adapters in the box for most valves, including Danfoss. Check compatibility in Sonoff's official guide: https://sonoff.tech/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/SONOFF_TRV-Compatibility-Guide-20241202.pdf. Older Soviet-era valves may need a separate adapter — we'll help you pick one.
• Can I use voice control (Alexa/Google/Yandex)?

  Yes, through the eWeLink app linked to the Zigbee hub. Alexa, Google Home and Yandex Alice voice commands work via the gateway, not directly from the head.
• What warranty and delivery do you offer?

  24-month official warranty from Evrinet SRL (official Sonoff importer). Delivery across Moldova, showroom in Chișinău at str. Columna 153.
• Can I connect it to Apple Home (Matter)?

  Not directly — the TRVZB is Zigbee. But via a software Matter Bridge (eWeLink CUBE) it can be added to Apple Home; the same Matter path also exposes it to Alexa or Google Home.
• Temperature control seems inaccurate — what can I do?

  Calibrate the reading in the app, or pair an external temperature sensor (SNZB-02/02D/02P on the same eWeLink account) as the reference — useful when the head is far from the activity area. Weekly, the head runs an anti-scale cycle (shows “CA”).
