• How is the THR320D different from the THR316D?

  The relay and terminals: the THR320D switches up to 20 A and takes 1.5–6 mm² wire, the THR316D handles 16 A and 1–4 mm². Dry contact, LCD and probes are identical. For immersion heaters and floor heating pick the 20 A version.
• How do I connect a gas boiler?

  Through the separate 5–30 V (max 1 A) dry contact: it closes the boiler's room-thermostat terminals without feeding 230 V into the boiler board. Wiring is an electrician's job, following the official manual.
• Can the dry contact be controlled separately from the relay?

  No — that is an official limitation: the normally-open dry contact follows the state of the power relay. Two loads with independent logic require two units.
• Which probe should I pick for heating?

  For air — the THS01 (temperature and humidity), for a tank, pipe or manifold — the sealed DS18B20-based WTS01, for greenhouse soil — the MS01. All plug into the RJ9 jack, and the RL560 cable extends a probe up to 60 m.
• What happens if the internet goes down?

  Auto mode is stored in the relay itself, and LAN control keeps working on the local network. Thresholds keep executing and the LCD keeps showing conditions; you only lose cloud notifications and voice commands.
• What load can the 20 A rating really take?

  Up to ~4.6 kW of resistive load at 230 V: immersion heaters, heating cable, fan heaters. The manufacturer requires a breaker no higher than C20 upstream; for compressor loads factor in inrush current.
• Does it work with Apple Home or Alice?

  Officially: eWeLink, Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings and Yandex Alice. Apple Home is reachable only through the eWeLink CUBE Matter bridge on an iHost hub; there is no direct HomeKit support.
• Where do I see the temperature history?

  In eWeLink: by hour, day and month for the last six months, with .xlsx export. Handy for a greenhouse or cellar — you can see whether it froze and when the heating kicked in.
