• What does Detach Relay mode do and why use it?

  It separates the wall key state from the relay state: a press no longer cuts power. Smart bulbs stay online, and each key action is logged in eWeLink and can trigger scenes.
• How is the MINIR4M different from the MINIR4?

  Same 39.5×33×16.8 mm Extreme platform with a 10 A relay, but the MINIR4M is Matter-certified and joins Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa and SmartThings directly. The MINIR4 is controlled through eWeLink, without Matter.
• Which switches connect to S1 and S2?

  Momentary, standard rocker, door exit buttons, two-point SPDT staircase wiring and dry contacts from sensors. The manual forbids connecting neutral or earth to S1/S2.
• Is a neutral wire mandatory, and what if there is none at the mounting point?

  Yes, the maker requires both live and neutral. If neutral does not reach the switch, mount the module at the fixture or in the junction box; if that is impossible, pick the ZBMINIL2 — the Zigbee no-neutral version.
• Does it work without internet?

  Partly yes: Matter devices communicate locally on the home network, so LAN commands and automations keep working during an outage. Remote access and the eWeLink cloud need a connection.
• Can it live in eWeLink and Apple Home or Google Home at the same time?

  Yes. The maker declares synchronous operation on eWeLink and Matter platforms with real-time state sync: add it to eWeLink first, then scan the Matter code in the second app.
• Can it switch more than lights — a boiler, for instance?

  Yes, any load up to 10 A / 2400 W at 240 V, with a breaker rated 10 A max ahead of the L In terminal. For heavier loads or motors choose a dedicated power relay.
