About this product
Mount a single unit and watch the yard from two angles at once. The upper fixed lens captures a wide panorama of roughly 180°, while the lower PTZ lens swivels 355° horizontally and 95° vertically to follow movement. Both lenses record in 2.5K (2560 x 1440 px), H.265 codec, up to 25 fps, with a bright F/1.6 aperture.<br><br>After dark the camera switches to full-colour video with white spotlights or to infrared, and the MJA1 security chip tells people apart from vehicles to cut false alerts. Two-way audio, a sound-and-light alarm, and storage on microSD up to 256GB, Xiaomi cloud or NAS. IP66 housing, wired 12V/1A power, Wi-Fi 6 dual-band (2.4/5GHz) or Ethernet RJ45. Setup is through the Xiaomi Home app only. 24 months official warranty.

Use cases
The fixed lens holds a ~180° panorama over the whole yard, while the 355° PTZ lens tracks anyone or any car approaching the gate, with AI people and vehicle detection.
At a shop entrance or over a parking lot the camera records 2.5K by day and in colour at night, while the sound-and-light siren deters intruders. Ethernet RJ45 for a stable stream.
From the Xiaomi Home app you watch both lenses, speak through two-way audio and get alerts only for people or vehicles, with recordings on microSD up to 256GB or to the cloud.

No. The CW500 Dual has no factory RTSP or ONVIF and does not connect to a third-party NVR. Recording is to a microSD card (up to 256GB), Xiaomi cloud or a NAS, all managed through the Xiaomi Home app.Which app controls it, and does it support Google or Alexa?
The camera is set up and managed solely through the Xiaomi Home / Mi Home app (Android 8.0+ or iOS 12.0+). It has no official integration with Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit, SmartThings or Home Assistant.Does it have a battery or does it need wired power?
There is no battery. It is wired, 12V/1A (DC), for continuous operation. For networking you can use Wi-Fi 6 dual-band or an Ethernet RJ45 cable.How well does it see at night and does it survive rain?
