The Sensirion (Switzerland) digital sensor delivers ±0.1 °C resolution and ±1% RH accuracy, while a comfort indicator shows at a glance whether the air is too dry or too humid — handy in a baby's room. Over Bluetooth 4.2 / BLE it pairs with the Xiaomi Home app, reports dew point and battery level, and once bound to a Xiaomi gateway it becomes a trigger for automations. No. The device uses a CR2032 battery (DC 2.5–3 V), which is not included. With a fresh battery, standby life is about one year. We recommend adding one to your order.Do I need a Xiaomi hub to use it?
For the display and reading values on your phone via the Xiaomi Home app, a direct Bluetooth connection is enough. A Xiaomi gateway is only needed if you want to use the sensor as a trigger in automations.Does it work with Home Assistant?
Yes. The device works with Home Assistant via the Xiaomi BLE integration using a bindkey. This lets you log data and build advanced climate scenarios.How accurate are the readings?
The Sensirion digital sensor offers ±0.1 °C display resolution and ±1% RH humidity accuracy. The measured range is 0–60 °C for temperature and 0–99% RH for humidity, enough for any home setting.What is the Bluetooth range?
As a Bluetooth 4.2 / BLE device, the range is short and works within a room. To receive data continuously, your phone or Xiaomi gateway must stay nearby; walls and distance reduce the signal.
