• How does the panel know which of the two channels I mean?

  The face is split into two touch fields, one per channel. A short press inside a field switches only that line — the maker documents the short-press gesture as controlling each channel individually.
• Do the swipe and the multi-finger tap belong to one channel?

  No — they are whole-panel gestures: a horizontal swipe longer than half the glass width fires your chosen eWeLink scene, and a multi-finger tap toggles the ambient ring. Individual channels are switched by short presses in their fields.
• How much load can each channel take?

  Up to 5 A per channel at 100–240 V, 10 A combined; LED fixtures are limited to 150 W per channel at 240 V. Sonoff requires a 10 A MCB or RCBO ahead of the panel.
• Can I assign one of the channels to curtains?

  No. In the 86 series motor mode is officially supported only by the 3-gang T5-3C-86; on the 2-gang both outputs work strictly as light switches.
• Does it support Apple Home?

  Not directly. Official platforms are eWeLink, Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings, IFTTT and Alice. Apple Home is reachable only through the software Matter bridge in eWeLink CUBE on an iHost.
• What happens to the lights after a power cut?

  You set it in eWeLink via Power-on State: on, off or last state. For a bedroom, “off” is handy so a midnight grid recovery does not light the chandelier.
• Do I need a separate hub?

  No — the panel connects straight to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi router and executes commands over LAN even without internet. Voice assistants link through the eWeLink account.
• Why one 2-gang panel instead of two 1-gang ones?

  Both lines fit a single back box and one 86×86 mm frame, your network gains one Wi-Fi device instead of two, and scenes plus gestures live in a single eWeLink tile. It also costs less than a pair of 1-gang panels.
