• Can the three light lines be controlled separately?

  Yes, the channels are fully independent: each key switches its own L out terminal, and every line keeps its own schedule, timers and role in scenes. Hallway, kitchen and bathroom can each follow their own rules.
• How much load can each key take?

  2 A per channel — 440 W of resistive load, with a 6 A (1320 W) total. For LED fixtures the maker caps it at 100 W per channel at 220 V. Plenty for lighting; heating appliances must not be connected.
• What breaker goes ahead of the switch?

  Sonoff's current documentation requires a 6 A MCB or RCBO ahead of the 3-gang version — unlike the 1- and 2-gang M5, which call for 10 A. The reason is the 6 A total limit across the three channels.
• Will the wires in my back box be enough?

  You need line L, a neutral for the N terminal and three load wires to L out1–L out3. In older homes the neutral rarely reaches the switch — an electrician jumpers it over from the junction box. Label the load wires before connecting.
• Can all three lines be switched off in one action?

  Yes. In a Matter ecosystem you create a leaving-home scene that turns every channel off at once; in eWeLink a group or a scene does the same. Physically the three keys sit side by side — one sweep of the hand covers them all.
• Can I add a second control point without wiring?

  Yes: the SONOFF R5 controller pairs with the M5 Matter as a sub-device over eWeLink-Remote, and an eWeLink scene maps its keys to the channels — two-point control with no wall chasing.
• Will the lights come back on after a power cut?

  That is up to you: each line has its own power-on behaviour — always on, always off or last state. Schedules are stored inside the switch and keep running after the outage.
• Why does an off bulb on a neighbouring channel glow faintly?

  The manufacturer attributes faint glow or flicker of an off bulb, when a neighbouring channel turns on, to bulb compatibility — usually the glowing bulb itself. Replacing it with a quality LED fixture that uses a different driver solves it.
