Decide which appliances may start automatically and which need a person. Not every appliance is designed to start when power is restored.
What should the family test?
Test one person leaving, the last person leaving and a guest staying behind. Test manual cancellation separately. Automation conditions can limit when an action runs, but the routine still depends on the situations you have planned for.
