All of this hardware is connected into Home Assistant, running locally on a hub inside the apartment. From there you get phone notifications on motion or door opening, leaving and arriving scenes, and recordings tied to events. Even if the internet goes down, core automations — siren, sensors, arming scenes — can keep working locally.
