Does the camera need a permanent power cable?
No. It runs on a built-in 10 000 mAh battery, up to 180 days between charges (5V/2A). For unlimited autonomy you can add a 5W solar panel, sold separately.Can I connect the camera to an NVR or Home Assistant via RTSP/ONVIF?
No. The model has no official RTSP or ONVIF and works only through the Xiaomi Home (Mi Home) app. Recordings are stored locally on 8 GB of eMMC memory or, optionally, in Xiaomi cloud.Where are recordings saved, and can I use a microSD card?
