What does Detach Relay mode do?

It decouples the key from the relay: smart bulbs in the fixture stay powered even with the key 'off', and a press fires a scene from the app instead. If the panel loses connection, the key automatically takes back direct control of the relay — the light is never locked out.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. The physical key does not depend on the network at all, and eWeLink commands travel over the local network (LAN) as long as the phone and panel share the same Wi-Fi. The cloud is only needed for control from outside the home and for voice assistants.

Can I add the panel to several ecosystems at once?

Yes, Matter supports multi-admin: the same panel can live in Apple Home and Google Home in parallel, plus eWeLink for schedules and scenes with Sonoff sensors. The Matter QR code is printed on the device and in the quick guide.

What load can the relay take?

Up to a 10 A resistive load — roughly 2400 W at 240 V. For LED fixtures keep headroom because of driver inrush currents: as a rule of thumb, stay under half the rating. The manufacturer requires a 10 A MCB upstream of the panel.

Is it a dimmer or just on/off?

The Orb-MW1 is a relay switch: the light turns on and off, brightness is not adjustable. For smooth dimming the Sonoff range offers the MINI-DIM module, which mounts behind a regular switch.

How do I put the panel into pairing mode or reset it?

Press and hold the device button for 5 seconds — the LED blinks 'two short, one long' and the panel opens a 10-minute pairing window. Then scan the Matter QR in Apple Home / Google Home / Alexa / SmartThings or add it through eWeLink.
