• How does the L2 differ from the L2 Lite and the L3 series?

  Versus the L2 Lite: IP65 protection (the Lite is IP20) and a 140° beam instead of 120°; the electronics and box contents match. Versus the L3 series: the L2 is analogue — the whole strip shows one colour at a time, chasing gradients belong to the RGBIC L3 Pro.
• Can I run the strip in a bathroom or on a balcony?

  The strip itself — yes: the IP65 rating handles splashes and damp air. The controller and adapter have no water protection, so keep them in a dry spot and route only the strip into the wet zone.
• Can the L2 replace the main room light?

  No. The official output starts at 300 lm per metre — contour and accent lighting. The full five metres add up to roughly 1,500 lm spread along the run, about one bulb's worth; keep the ceiling light.
• Does brightness drop towards the far end of the five metres?

  12V power enters only from the controller side, so at full white the far end can glow slightly softer — typical of any 12V analogue strip at this length. At medium-brightness scenes the difference is not visible.
• How do I light a run longer than five metres?

  There is no official extension kit for the L2, and a cut-off piece will not work on its own. For longer paths add a second kit with its own adapter and controller — both strips live in the same eWeLink home and start together from one scene.
• What happens when the internet goes down?

  You keep control: when Wi-Fi drops, the strip automatically switches to Bluetooth 5.0 from your phone — the manual describes this behaviour — and the 24-key IR remote needs no network at all.
• Will the adapter fit Moldovan sockets?

  Yes. Three interchangeable plugs come in the box — EU, UK and US; Moldovan sockets take the EU one. The adapter accepts 100–240V, so 220V mains is squarely in spec; output is 12V/2A on a 1.5 m cable.
