• What else do I need to buy to make the plug work?

  Nothing. The S60TPF connects straight to your home 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi; all it takes is a router and the free eWeLink app. No hub, no coordinator, no subscription.
• Can it handle a boiler or an electric heater?

  Yes: officially rated 16 A and up to 4000 W. A 1.5–2 kW boiler, an oil radiator or a washing machine are routine loads. Just never chain several powerful appliances through a splitter.
• What energy statistics does it show?

  Live current, voltage and power, consumption for yesterday, today and the current month, plus up to six months of history with export — all inside the eWeLink app.
• Can I add it to Apple Home?

  Not directly. The maker officially supports that route only through the eWeLink CUBE software Matter bridge (for example on the iHost hub). Native integrations are eWeLink, Alexa, Google Home and SmartThings.
• Does it work without internet?

  Yes, inside the local network: the S60TPF supports eWeLink LAN mode, so app commands go straight through the router with no server involved. Remote access from outside obviously still needs internet.
• Why can't it see my Wi-Fi network?

  The module only works on the 2.4 GHz band (802.11 b/g/n). If your router broadcasts 2.4 and 5 GHz under one name, split the bands or disable band steering for the duration of pairing.
• How is it different from the Zigbee S60 model?

  By the radio link: this version talks straight to the router over Wi-Fi and asks for nothing else. The S60ZBTPF communicates over Zigbee and makes sense in a home that already runs a Zigbee coordinator.
• Can it live outdoors or in a bathroom?

  No. The casing has no declared IP rating against dust and water; the maker limits it to indoor use at −10…+40 °C. For outdoor switching Sonoff offers separate IP66-rated gear.
