• Why a four-pack instead of a single plug?

  Because with four units you kit out a whole home in one purchase using absolutely identical modules: the water heater, bedroom heater, office and kitchen get the same plug, comparable meters and one setup. If you only have one load to automate, the two-piece variant of the same CE2P is a better fit.
• Are all four the same as the single CE2P plug?

  Yes. They are exactly the same 16 A / 3680 W CE2P modules as in the two-pack; only the quantity in the box differs (the EU-4 variant). The official imou store sells the same plug in 1, 2, 4 and 6-piece sets, and this is the four-piece one.
• Do the four plugs need an imou hub?

  No. All four are Matter certified and use Matter-over-Wi-Fi on 2.4 GHz, with no proprietary hub. You add them with the Matter code to Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa or Home Assistant; commissioning is Bluetooth-assisted from the phone, one plug at a time.
• Can I put one plug in every room of the flat?

  Yes, that is the point of the kit. The only condition is Wi-Fi coverage: these are Matter-over-Wi-Fi modules on 2.4 GHz, so each plug needs a 2.4 GHz signal in the room where it sits, not just near the router. In a large flat, check the signal in the far corners before fixing where each plug goes.
• How do I compare consumption across the four appliances?

  Each plug in the kit reports power and consumption in real time in the IMOU Life app, separately. So you can put the four modules on different appliances — water heater, heater, second fridge, desk — and see on the charts which one draws the most before deciding where to cut.
• What loads can I connect and what are each plug's limits?

  Each module switches up to 16 A / 3680 W at 230 V, so it covers water heaters, electric heaters, towel rails or ironing stations. Keep one appliance per plug, no daisy-chained extension leads, and the overload protection will cut the load automatically if you exceed the limit.
• Are they safe for a home with children?

  Yes. Each plug has child-safety shutters over the contacts, a fire-resistant housing and overload protection with auto power-off. On thermal loads that stay on for long stretches these protections matter most, which is exactly why the kit suits a whole home.
