• What is the Bluetooth in this bulb for?

  Bluetooth 4.2 BLE speeds up first setup: pick “Bluetooth Pairing” in eWeLink, your phone finds the bulb nearby and hands over the Wi-Fi credentials. The pairing window lasts about three minutes after power-on; reopen it with three off-on cycles at one-second intervals.
• How is the B02-BL-A60 different from the older B02-B-A60?

  The optics are close — 9 W, 806 lm, 2700–6500 K, E27 base. The BL version added Bluetooth pairing, the rated lifetime went up from about 10,000 to 15,000 hours, and the body was redesigned. The B02-B series is no longer sold on itead.cc — the BL replaced it.
• Does it have dynamic light effects?

  No. The B02-BL-A60 has four static light presets; dynamic scenes (gradual transitions, strobe) and music sync are reserved for the colour B05-BL. This bulb is about calm white light on a schedule.
• Can I control the bulb without internet?

  Yes — on the local network eWeLink uses LAN control, so commands go straight from your phone to the bulb. For self-built automation there is a DIY mode with a REST API: power, brightness and colour temperature respond to HTTP requests.
• What if I never set up Wi-Fi?

  It stays a perfectly normal bulb. After first power-on it “breathes” in pairing mode for about 3 minutes; cut the power after 10 seconds and switch it back on, and it shines steady warm white at full brightness from the wall switch.
• Which Wi-Fi network does it need?

  2.4 GHz only (IEEE 802.11 b/g/n) — it cannot see 5 GHz networks. On a dual-band router a temporary separate 2.4 GHz SSID helps during pairing. Thanks to Bluetooth pairing you type the network password right on your phone.
• Can it light up in colours?

  No, this is the CW model: white tones only, from a warm 2700 K to a cool 6500 K, plus brightness. For colour scenes and music sync look at the RGBCW B05-BL-A60 from the same series.
• How do I move it to another router or reset it?

  To switch networks, run three off-on cycles at one-second intervals while the bulb is lit — it starts “breathing” and accepts Bluetooth pairing again. A full factory reset works differently from other Sonoff bulbs: you delete the device in the eWeLink app.
