Almost every remote in the house runs on infrared: the living-room TV, the air conditioner, the set-top box, the amplifier, the projector. The eRemote HA gathers them into one Wi-Fi unit, learns the IR codes or pulls them from a large library of brands, and fires them up to 12 metres away, bouncing off walls.

Unlike an ordinary IR bridge, it talks straight to Home Assistant through IR2MQTT over the local network — no cloud, no proprietary hub. It joins a 2.4 GHz router (5 GHz is not supported), and through the MQTT add-on every IR appliance shows up in HA as an entity, ready for scenes. Voice control via Alexa and Google Home is confirmed; power comes from a 5 V USB adapter.

What you need on your side and what we deliver.
Three typical automations we set up after the install.
The TV, the set-top box and the amplifier all enter Home Assistant via IR2MQTT, and a movie-night scene powers them up and switches the source in one tap.
An IR-remote climate unit becomes a Home Assistant entity: it can switch on before you arrive home or tie to a temperature sensor, locally and without the cloud.
Through Alexa or Google Home an IR-remote projector turns on by voice, while the eRemote HA fires the code up to 12 metres across the room.
