• How does the PS7F differ from the PS3E series?

  The PS3E is a fixed PoE turret with a steady position and a field set at install time. The PS7F 5MP is the PS7-series alternative with a motorised head: it pans 355°, tilts 0–90° and tracks motion on its own, plus active deterrence with a siren and lights. Choose the PS7F when you want a single camera that turns its head, and the PS3E when a fixed position is enough.
• How far does the camera pan and tilt?

  The motorised head pans 355° horizontally and tilts from 0 to 90° vertically, with smart tracking and auto cruise that sweep the area. The pan is not a full circle (355°, not 360°), so at install leave a margin so the area of interest does not land right on the dead spot at the end of travel.
• Does it see in colour at night, or only black-and-white?

  Both. The four combined spotlight-plus-IR illuminators give a lit colour picture or black-and-white IR, out to 30 m, with four night modes. The lit colour mode is useful at the gate to read details such as the colour of clothing or a car; the black-and-white IR stays discreet when you do not want visible light.
• Can I add it to an NVR or to Home Assistant?

  Yes. The PS7F supports ONVIF (Profile S) and exposes an RTSP stream, so it is not locked inside the imou app: add it to a compatible third-party NVR (Dahua/Hikvision), to Synology Surveillance Station, to Frigate or straight into Home Assistant, and use it beside another brand's cameras on the same recorder.
• What power supply does it need?

  One cable: PoE 802.3af both powers and carries data, or alternatively 12 V DC 1 A, with consumption under 12 W. Because it is a motorised camera with real draw, on long runs use an 802.3af switch with headroom rather than one at its limit, so pan and tilt stay stable.
• Does it have a siren, and can I talk through it?

  Yes. On AI human or vehicle detection active deterrence kicks in: two red-blue warning lights flash and the built-in siren sounds. The full-duplex mic and speaker give two-way talk, so you warn whoever is in the yard straight from the app rather than just receiving an alert.
• What is the real resolution — 3K or 5MP?

  The official imou spec lists 5MP, that is 2880×1620 px, on a 1/3″ sensor with a 3.6 mm lens. The '3K' in the catalogue title is a marketing label for the same resolution; the technical figure to rely on is 5MP / 2880×1620. H.265/H.264 encoding at 25/30 fps keeps the stream compact.
