• How often can the PF1 feed in a day?

  You schedule up to 15 meals a day in the imou Life app, in exact portions at set times. The visual dispensing algorithm stops if food still remains in the bowl, and a low-level reminder arrives when the hopper runs short. The 4-litre hopper lasts nearly three weeks of dry food.
• What does the 2.5K camera see, and is there night vision?

  The 4MP lens renders a 2.5K image, and the 360° fisheye covers the room with a 180° field horizontally, vertically and diagonally, with 8x digital zoom. Infrared night vision works in the dark. You switch between four modes: 360°, Bowl, Home Camera and VR.
• Can I talk to the pet and call it to eat?

  Yes. The PF1 has a built-in mic and speaker for two-way audio, so you reassure the cat from a distance through imou Life. You can also record your own meal call that plays at every portion, which the pet learns to associate with food.
• What happens during a power cut?

  The PF1 has a backup power mode: three 1.5V D-size alkaline cells (not included) keep scheduled feeding and the live view running so the pet is not left unfed. Main power is DC 5V/1A, under 5W, through the chew-proof braided cable.
• What food does it take, and how does it avoid clogs?

  It takes dry, freeze-dried or mixed food with 2–12 mm kibble. A three-layer anti-clog design plus a desiccant box keep the kibble dry and free-flowing; the PF1 also sends a warning when it detects a blockage. Flat or sticky food remains risky, though.
• Does it connect to Alexa or Google Home?

  The PF1 is managed from the imou Life app for iOS and Android over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi; the official imou page does not claim Alexa or Google Home integration for this model. A technically advanced user can bring the camera stream into Home Assistant, but scheduled feeding stays in imou Life.
• What are its dimensions and where can I put it?

  The PF1 measures 356 × 194 × 312 mm and weighs 1.51 kg, with anti-slip silicone feet. It runs at -10 to 45 °C, under 95% humidity, indoors only. Place it on a stable surface near a socket with the cable kept away from the pet — a kitchen or living-room corner is ideal.
