• How far does the Wi-Fi really reach?

  The Cruiser SE+ uses Wi-Fi 6 (802.11 b/g/n/ax) on 2.4 GHz with a dual antenna and MIMO, and imou rates the range at up to roughly 100 m (330 ft) in open space. The 2.4 GHz band penetrates a fence and walls better than 5 GHz, which is why it suits a far-corner mount; in practice obstacles cut the distance, so check the signal level when mounting.
• How is it powered — will one Ethernet cable do?

  No. The 100 Mbps Ethernet port is for a wired LAN only and is NOT PoE. The camera is powered by the bundled DC 12 V 0.5 A adapter at under 6 W, so the mount needs a socket or a 12 V run. If you want a single cable, use Wi-Fi 6 for data and a short 12 V line for power.
• Can I connect it to an NVR or Home Assistant?

  Yes. The Cruiser SE+ is ONVIF-compatible and exposes an RTSP stream, so it integrates with third-party NVRs, with Home Assistant, Synology Surveillance Station or Frigate, alongside the Imou Life app, Google Home and Alexa. That lets you add it to an existing camera system without being tied to the cloud.
• How much does the pan cover, and what does it record at night?

  The PT head turns 355° horizontally and tilts 0–90° vertically, so it covers almost the whole yard from one point, and auto-tracking keeps a passing person in frame. At night there are four modes: infrared to 30 m, full colour via the built-in spotlight, a smart mode and off.
• How much storage does it take, and where are recordings saved?

  It takes a microSD card up to 512 GB for local recording; for reference, imou rates roughly 4 days on 64 GB. The stream can also be written to an NVR or to the Imou cloud, which offers a 30-day free trial for new users. We recommend a surveillance-grade card.
• What sets it apart from the plain Cruiser SE and the 3MP version?

  The '+' in Cruiser SE+ marks the second antenna: unlike the single-antenna Cruiser SE, this version has a dual antenna with MIMO for better Wi-Fi reach. The family ships in 3MP and 5MP; this code, IPC-K7CP-5H1WE, is the 5MP variant, with finer detail on the same scene.
• Will it survive outdoors year-round in Moldova's climate?

  Yes. The body is rated IP66 — dust-tight and resistant to powerful water jets, so it handles the rain and snow of a Moldovan winter. Where possible still mount it under an eave to shield the lens and spotlight from direct icing and harsh sun and to keep the image cleaner.
