• How many plugs are in this set?

  The EU-2 set contains two identical CE2P plugs — the range's starter version, meant for two spots in the home. imou also offers 1, 4 and 6-piece variants; if you cover several rooms or a whole flat, the 4-piece set (EU-4) fits better. Every plug is the same 16 A CE2P — only the count in the box changes.
• Do I need an imou hub to use them?

  No. The CE2P is a Matter-over-Wi-Fi plug: it connects to the home router on 2.4 GHz and adds straight into Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa or Home Assistant via a Matter code, with no separate hub or bridge. The imou Life app stays available in parallel for schedules and consumption readout.
• Which ecosystems does it work with?

  Being Matter Certified, the CE2P joins Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Home Assistant. Voice control through Alexa and Google Home is officially confirmed — "Alexa, turn off the lights", "Hey Google, turn on the fan". The same plug can be shared into several ecosystems at once through multiple Matter codes.
• What load does each plug handle?

  Each CE2P switches up to 16 A, that is 3680 W at 220–240 V, so it can power a water heater, an electric heater or a coffee machine, not just small devices. For loads of that size use a wall socket with solid earthing, not a thin extension lead.
• Can I see how much the appliances consume?

  Yes. Each plug has a built-in energy meter that tracks consumption in real time, and the imou Life app shows how many watts the connected appliance draws and a monthly estimate. That is how you find the hidden power users in the home and decide what is worth leaving plugged in.
• Are they safe for a home with children?

  Yes: every socket has protective shutters that reduce the risk of electric shock, and the plug includes overload protection with automatic shut-off and a fireproof housing. They are for indoor use only, in standard 220–240 V wall sockets.
• Which Wi-Fi band does it connect to?

  The CE2P works as Matter-over-Wi-Fi on the 2.4 GHz band. During pairing keep the phone connected to the 2.4 GHz network rather than 5 GHz, or scanning the Matter code can fail — a detail true for most Matter-over-Wi-Fi devices.
