• Which radiator valves does the TRV06 fit?

  The connection is the standard M30×1.5 mm, which the head screws straight onto, and the box includes adapters covering over 90% of valves, including Danfoss, Caleffi and Giacomini. If your valve has a different thread, ask us before ordering and we will check compatibility together.
• Does it need a hub or the internet?

  Yes. The TRV06 talks over Zigbee 3.0 and needs a Tuya / Smart Life Zigbee gateway for the app, the schedule and voice control. Without a gateway it stays a local thermostatic head with no schedule and no phone. If you have no gateway, we will help you pick a suitable one.
• How does it save gas compared with a manual knob?

  The 7-day weekly schedule, with up to four periods a day, drops the temperature overnight and while you are out, then lifts it before you get home — automatically, with no knob to turn. On top of that, window detection closes the valve while you air the room, so the boiler does not burn gas for nothing.
• How long do the batteries last and which type?

  The TRV06 runs on two AA alkaline cells (LR6) that last about six months. It needs no socket beside the radiator and no wiring. We recommend keeping a spare pair for the heating season so the schedule does not stop in the middle of winter.
• What does 'OP' on the display mean?

  It is the open-window indicator: when the room temperature drops sharply by more than 6 °C in 4 minutes, the head assumes you have opened a window, closes the valve and shows 'OP' to avoid heating for nothing. Once the temperature settles or you shut the window, it returns to the schedule.
• Does it have a display or is it a screenless head?

  It has a segmented LED display showing the current room temperature and the target value, plus states such as 'OP' or 'OF'. The maker's descriptions sometimes say 'no LCD' — that means it is not an LCD panel, not that there is no screen; the LED display is present and readable.
• Can I use several heads in one home?

  Yes. Once added to the Smart Life / Tuya app through the gateway, the heads can be grouped, shared with the family and linked into scenes with other sensors, while voice control runs via Amazon Alexa and Google Home. That way each room gets its own heating schedule from one place.
