• How does this 2-gang T2 differ from T0 and T3?

  T2 is the white one with a slim border and a 433.92 MHz RF receiver for the RM433 remote (sold separately). T0 looks similar but has no RF receiver; T3 offers the same functions in black glass. The 2-gang version carries 2 A per channel and 4 A in total.
• Can the worktop strip go on the second key?

  Yes — provided two separate lighting lines leave the switch box, to the L1 Out and L2 Out terminals. In older blocks the under-cabinet strip is often fed from the socket circuit, in which case an electrician needs to run a new line to the switch point.
• Can a cooker hood hang off a spare key?

  Not a good idea. The relays are sized for lighting: 2 A per channel, 4 A total, with LED loads up to 300 W per channel at 220 V per the manufacturer. A motorised hood draws big inrush currents — leave it on its own circuit.
• How do you clean the glass, and what about sink splashes?

  The face is a flat sheet of tempered glass with no slots — grease wipes off with a damp cloth along with the splashback. The device has no declared IP rating though, so keep it out of the sink's direct splash zone and never wash it with a water jet.
• Is the "Ultra White" shade different from older white TX panels?

  Yes, the manufacturer states it officially: the new version uses a different process and the glass leans toward snow white. If you are adding a panel next to an old-generation white TX on the same wall, the shades may differ slightly side by side.
• Can I switch the light by voice when my hands are messy?

  Yes — through Alexa or Google Assistant once your eWeLink account is linked. The two channels show up separately, so you can ask for just the worktop light without touching the glass with dough-covered fingers.
• Can it sit right next to the hob?

  The manufacturer publishes no operating temperature range for the TX series, so we will not invent numbers. In practice the wall box goes outside the zone of direct heat and steam, to the side of the hob — exactly what sound kitchen wiring practice calls for.
• Can the whole family control the switch?

  Yes: eWeLink lets you share the device with other accounts, with state synced in real time — your phone shows whether the worktop light was left on. The touch keys stay usable for everyone without the app anyway.
