• How does the T2 differ from the T0 and T1 in the TX line?

  The T0 lacks the 433 MHz receiver and the T1 receives RF but has no frame. The T2 combines both: an RF receiver plus a framed glass panel. In the EU line the framed white model is the T2; its black counterpart is the T3.
• Will it work without a neutral wire in the box?

  No — the electronics are powered between live and neutral, so both must be present. In older buildings the neutral usually stays in the junction box and has to be brought down by an electrician; with no neutral at all, a relay module at the light fixture is the alternative.
• Does the glass react to cleaning or wet hands?

  The panel is capacitive, so a damp cloth or a palm can trigger it. While washing walls it is easiest to de-energize the circuit at the breaker. The maker publishes no separate care guide; a soft dry cloth is enough for the tempered glass.
• Can I control one light from two spots without new wiring?

  Yes. The 433.92 MHz receiver takes an optional remote (the RM433R2, say) that mounts on the wall as a second 'key' with no chiselling — each button pairs individually. And through eWeLink every family member has the light on their phone, even from abroad.
• Can it go in a bathroom or next to a sink?

  Sonoff publishes no IP rating for the TX, so the panel is meant for dry rooms. Splashes and condensation are a double hazard — for the electronics and for the capacitive sensor. For a bathroom the correct setup is the switch outside the room, by the door.
• Can it dim the lights?

  No — the T2 switches a relay: on or off, nothing in between. Dimmable bulbs cannot be faded through it; for variable brightness use a dedicated dimmer module and keep the touch panel where lights simply go on and off.
• What do the blue Wi-Fi indicator flashes mean?

  Per the manual: two short flashes plus one long — quick pairing mode; steady on — connected; one quick flash — cannot find the router; two quick flashes — router found but no internet; three quick flashes — firmware updating.
• Does it join scenes with other Sonoff devices?

  Yes, in eWeLink the panel takes part in smart scenes alongside the rest of the Sonoff ecosystem: one 'Leaving home' command can drop the hallway light together with other relays. The share function puts the light on every family member's phone.
