In a Moldovan home, where pipe pressure varies and older plumbing can fail, a leak under the sink spotted too late means swollen cabinets and flooded neighbours. A smart kitchen puts these risks under quiet control: sensors flag the first drop, a valve shuts the water off automatically, and plugs see exactly how much each appliance draws.

We place leak sensors under the sink and beside the dishwasher, wire in an automatic shut-off valve that cuts the water on the first signal, and split the light into zones — ambient, counter and accent — so a single tap shifts the mood from cooking to dinner.
