The living room is where a household spends most of its evening hours, so this is where automations that remove repeated gestures pay off the most: switching on lights, adjusting temperature, closing blinds and turning on the TV. In a Moldovan flat or house, with cold winters and increasingly hot summers, a smart living room means one tap to move from a "work evening" to "movie night" without hunting for five different remotes. Everything stays manually controllable — the ordinary switches keep working.
