Frequently asked questions

• Can I use the NSPanel without a neutral (no-neutral)?

  No. This is the neutral-wire model: it needs both live AND neutral at the mount and will not power on from live alone. Confirm a neutral in the box before ordering.
• Does it fit the standard Moldovan back box?

  Yes, the 86 format (86×86 mm) fits the standard round box. The body is deeper than a plain switch, though — in an old shallow box use a spacer or a deep box.
• How deep must the wall recess be?

  The panel with the relay block is about 41.7 mm thick, so a 40 mm box is borderline. For a clean fit choose a box at least 45–50 mm deep, or add a spacer.
• Does the white variant differ from the dark-grey one beyond colour?

  No. The electronics, the 2 A / 480 W per-channel relays and the features are identical; only the frame colour differs. White is chosen for light walls where grey would contrast.
• Does switching work if the internet drops?

  Yes. Both relays switch the load locally from the touchscreen even with no network; only cloud scenes and voice commands need the internet.
• What loads can each channel take?

  LED lighting, bulbs, small fans — up to 480 W and 2 A per channel. For water heaters or electric radiators above 2 A use a separate relay driven by a scene.
• Is this the same as the NSPanel Pro?

  No. The plain NSPanel is a 2-channel Wi-Fi scene wall switch with eWeLink scenes. The NSPanel Pro is a Zigbee hub with a larger screen and local control — a different product at a different price.
