CasaSmart service
Planning for renovation stage or retrofit installations.
Who this is for
For architects, builders and owners who plan a house or apartment ahead — either at the renovation stage, while walls are still open, or for an already-lived-in home where they want automation without tearing out walls.
The design phase decides how well a smart home will work for years, and the most expensive decisions are made before the first socket is poured. CasaSmart works in two scenarios: at the renovation stage we draw the electrical plan, cable runs, back-box and panel positions, and decide where cable is worth it (KNX, wires to relays, Ethernet for cameras and access points) and where wireless is enough. For an already-finished home we design a retrofit — no chasing walls — built on Zigbee, Matter and Wi-Fi devices that fit into the existing back-box or onto the existing socket.
We start not from brands but from how you want to live in the home: what turns on by itself, what is controlled from the wall, what from the phone, and what must run locally without the cloud. From that we derive the protocol map — where KNX over cable gives maximum reliability, where Zigbee or Thread suits sensors, where Wi-Fi drives Shelly relays, and where Matter ties the ecosystems together.
The deliverable is a project any electrician or crew can read and build: a device schedule with every point numbered, the protocol map, the panel and network specification, the dashboard concept (what you see on the wall panel, phone, tablet) and a phased budget. We coordinate with your architect and electrician so the cables, back-boxes and panel are ready before finishes go on.
A well-made project means fewer improvisations on site, fewer cables forgotten in the wall, and a system you can extend without rebuilding it. Even if another crew does the install, the project stays yours — documented, brand-neutral and easy to continue.
The expensive decisions (cable, back-boxes, panel) are made right, early
Brand-neutral: we pick the right protocol for each point
Documentation any crew can build and continue from
Local-first: we design key scenarios so they can run without the cloud
Systems and protocols integrated
We discuss the project stage (renovation or retrofit), how you want to live in the home and a rough budget. The consultation is free.
We review the architectural plans or the existing home, define the scenarios you want and decide what goes wired versus wireless.
We draw the device schedule, protocol map, electrical plan and dashboard concept, with a phased budget.
We hand the project to the electrician and architect, answer questions on site and check back-boxes and panel before finishes.
We hand you the full documentation. You can continue with our install team or anyone else — the project stays yours.
Even for an apartment, a short design avoids forgotten cables and wrong back-boxes. At the renovation stage an extra cable costs little; after finishes, every change means opening walls. For small projects we make a compact version focused on points and budget.
Yes. We design a retrofit with no wall chasing, on wireless devices: Shelly relays in back-boxes, Zigbee or Matter sensors and buttons, connected locks and cameras. The protocol-map logic is the same, we just pick solutions that need no new cabling.
Yes, that's exactly what we do. We hand over the project in a clear format, mark cable runs and back-boxes on the plans and stay available for site questions. We check back-boxes and the panel before finishes, so there are no surprises at install.
No. The project is yours and can be built by any competent crew. Many clients continue with our team because it's simpler to have one responsible party, but it's not a condition. The documentation is brand-neutral.
The consultation is free. The design price depends on the size of the home, the number of points and the complexity of scenarios; device costs come separately, from the catalog. We give an estimate once we see the plans or the home.
