For owners who already have smart appliances — a robot vacuum, washer, fridge, air conditioner — from brands like Dreame, Roborock, Midea or Xiaomi, and are tired of juggling a separate app for each one. We bring them into a single control point with status, notifications and scenarios.
Appliance integration means connecting your smart devices — robot vacuum, washer and dryer, fridge, air conditioner — into Home Assistant, so you can see and control them from one place alongside the rest of the home. CasaSmart installs and integrates devices from brands like Dreame, Roborock, Midea and Xiaomi; we are not the official distributor of these brands, but we know them well and understand what can be pulled out of each one.
We are honest about the cloud: many appliances talk first to the manufacturer's server (Xiaomi Home, the Dreame or Roborock app, Midea), so some functions need internet. Where the appliance supports a local connection or Matter, we move control onto your network so the basics depend less on the cloud. For an air conditioner with no smart API, we add infrared control (for example via an IR emitter) so it can join scenarios even without a built-in module.
You end up with clear status cards (cycle running, temperature, vacuum battery, water tank, filter), useful notifications — wash finished, vacuum stuck, fridge door left open — and real scenarios: vacuum when nobody is home, pre-cool the bedroom before evening, quiet mode at night. Voice control and dashboards are included where the appliance allows it.

Mostly smart appliances with Wi-Fi or Matter — Dreame and Roborock robot vacuums, Midea air conditioners, Xiaomi-ecosystem devices, plus connected washers and fridges. Older appliances with no smart module can be partly controlled via infrared or smart plugs, but without detailed status.
It depends on the appliance. Many devices rely on the manufacturer's cloud, so some functions need internet. Where the model supports a local connection or Matter, we move the basic control onto your network. For each appliance we tell you clearly what stays cloud-dependent.
Yes, in many cases. We add an infrared emitter that copies the remote, so the AC can join scenarios — turn on before you get home, off when you leave. Exact status is limited, though, because IR sends commands but does not always read back what the unit is doing.
For daily control, usually not — everything lands in one dashboard and your scenarios. The brand apps stay useful for firmware updates and a few advanced appliance-specific settings, but you no longer need to open them every day.
The consultation is free. The price depends on the number of appliances, how integration-friendly they are, and any accessories (for example an IR emitter or a coordinator). Device costs come from the catalog, and we give an estimate after the audit.
